Support among parents
Create opportunities for single parents to connect, encourage one another, share insight, and build a network of support beyond the session.
Civic Listening Initiative · College Park
A conversation shaped by parents. A community strengthened by listening.
Single parents carry a great deal, often without enough support. Stronger Families brings parents, caregivers, neighbors, and resource partners together to hear lived experiences, identify everyday needs, and build meaningful connections.
Open to all College Park residents, this initiative starts with your voice. Share what is working, where the gaps are, and what would make daily life more manageable for families in our community.
Pre-registration expresses interest and helps us plan. It does not reserve a seat.

Listening with follow-through
We want this conversation to grow into stronger support, practical connections, and community priorities grounded in what families experience every day.
Create opportunities for single parents to connect, encourage one another, share insight, and build a network of support beyond the session.
Bring appropriate community resources into the conversation so families can learn about options that respond to the challenges of daily life.
Help guide city priorities around resources, funding, and programs that address critical everyday needs, informed by the people living those realities.
The initial survey will help shape the topics, questions, and resources for the session. Tell us what deserves attention.

No. The initial parent survey helps shape the session and is not event registration or a request for services. Participation is voluntary and you may skip any question. Please leave out names, contact details, children’s names, diagnoses, and private case details.
These arrangements are not yet confirmed. The forms let you share which supports would help you participate so those needs can inform planning. Support is not guaranteed.
